Anyway, let me introduce myself since you’re here. My name is Anthony Bianco (well, that’s what some people call me), but I’m otherwise known as my alter ego called The Travel Tart (@thetraveltart) and I’m a travel writer and blogger based in Brisbane, Australia. Yeah, this isn’t a joke! I’m actually an accredited member of the Australian Society of Travel Writers.

They actually wanted to let me in (you know, someone who runs a Travel Blog an is a Z grade Travel Influencer) – even though the main language I write in is Australian Slang! They invited me to join the society in 2017 and they’re a nice bunch of people who are passionate about travel!

I’ve met a plenty of members already at many (long) lunches and they’re a lot of fun.

They don’t take themselves too seriously, and they actually sometimes laugh at my corny jokes!

What Is The Australian Society of Travel Writers?

Well, they’re the peak body representing travel writers within Australia. It’s been going since 1975 (when I was a toddler!) and there are currently over 300 members.
