Here’s one for the car lovers out there that is way too close to the truth! As we all know, buying a car isn’t a great investment because it starts losing value as soon as you drive it away from the showroom floor.
It’s almost like throwing money away. But in our society, having your own car represents freedom and being able to drive wherever you want, whenever you want. Even if it means a hit to the hip pocked in regards to the initial purchase price, and the ongoing maintenance and running costs.
But there are some car lovers out there who love restoring old models to increase their value because they’re a collectable. The problem is that they become way too emotionally attached to their cars so they never sell them to make a profit to other car aficionados!
And hence, they pour a tonne of their income to keep their cars running.
