Las Vegas Traffic – on the Highway!

You wouldn’t think there was a recession in the United States, judging by the thousands of people who religiously gamble their money away at the numerous casinos, or piss their money up against a wall in Las Vegas.

I came across an amazing example of this by watching the Las Vegas Traffic on the way into the place.

This is what the road from Los Angeles to Las Vegas looks like from 200 km out on a Friday afternoon.

That’s right, the Las Vegas Traffic is solid all the way to Sin City, and the highways surrounding Las Vegas city becomes a parking lot once you venture a little closer.

Crazy! Obviously, the marketing strategies of the numerous Las Vegas Casinos are working!

This Las Vegas Traffic pic is almost as bizarre as this book titled CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU MAKE ME WANT TO GO BACK TO BEING A HOOKER: The Life and Times of a Corrupt Las Vegas Taxi Cab Driver.

You do realize that gambling increases as any recession increases. it’s always been this way. same thing with alcohol sells. it’s because more people are prone to do things to take their minds off of stresses…this isn’t that crazy of a photo….

Keep’em coming. I think the real unemployment rate in Vegas is about 22%, so we need all the recession money we can get our hands on.

Of course if you have seen the way that some casinos have slashed room prices, its more likely they are coming because it cheaper than paying rent.
