Bizarre Travel Photo – Best Menu Picture!

Be a share millionaire! Tell the world!

Today’s Bizarre Travel Photo is the Best Menu Picture – the hand drawn breakfast menu. I absolutely love this piece of improvisation that you normally don’t see in the first world! And it’s right in your face for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you really want it to be!

This great culinary photo example was sent to me from another travel addict friend who I used to work with, during his recent journey through the wide expanse of Incredible India.

Check it out! I reckon this food menu is really cool! Makes a nice alternative to the drab menus I sometimes come across (not the funny Chinese menu!) which have come from an inkjet printer. This would have taken a while to draw up!

Bizarre Travel Photo time! The Best Menu Picture Ever!

Bizarre Travel Photo. The Best Menu Picture Ever!

If you look at the top right hand corner of this Bizarre Travel Photo, I love the uplifting description on this Best Menu Picture – ‘Eat Healthy, Enjoy Holiday’.

I would have loved to have seen the Lunch and Dinner menus at this food joint! But think of the logistics – just say you had a restaurant of twenty tables, with four people per table – can you imagine trying to draw eighty menus for all of your potential customers? This crazy task would take weeks and weeks! It’s an incredible effort as far as I am concerned!

But this is what I love about travelling the world – coming across unpretentious stuff like this that makes you think of the reasoning behind it.

What other Best Menu Pictures have you come across? It would be hard to top this one, that’s for sure!

What a great idea, you get to see exactly what you are getting, even without the labels you would be able to tell! This is much better than using photographs because unless you are an expert photographer, photos of food never look good.

Norway is a natural beauty that hasn’t let modern construction to overtake the wildlife and outside environment. There are plenty of parks, lakes and trails that you can come across. The summers are very mild so if you have a major heat wave in your country during June thru August you may want to chill off and like it here.

Folks who need to enjoy the tranquility can choose have a look of high-mountain lakes and steep side valleys ; these are another attraction of Norway trip.

For India this is actually a goodlooking menu, handdrawn but in different colors and with an clean handwriting…

Genious substitute for a photograph of the food, really adds something to the menu, I never thought about it but why don’t more restaurants make menus like this? It’s so much clearer than only text. Awesome photo :).

I really could have used a detailed menu like this when I was travelling in China. A picture of a camel would really have saved me some embarrasement!

Don’t know which part of the camel it was Anthony – this might be a good thing 😉

It’s cute and funny seeing drawing of menu. I honestly haven’t notice any of the countries I’ve visited having this type of menu. If ever I’ll encounter one , I’ll surely take photos and post it.:

Appreciate your friend reacting positively about the simplicity of the menu and you being charmed by it. Foodies get accused at times for being snobs, so this post helps younger people to see that being a foodie is not just having a so-called sophisticated palate but being ‘more open’ to different way of cooking and presenting food.

That is quite deceiving really. To me that looks like a meal of 3 eggs, 3 beefburgers, 2 chips and a selection of boiled sweets [GET IN!!!]. Now how dissapointed would you be when you only got bread, eggs and some grapes??? !!
