Iconic Images – Moo!
Today’s Iconic Image is of the Cow In the Street in India.
I did a quick trick to Bangalore, India recently and felt like I needed to walk of the nice curries I had been devouring.
Cow In The Street – India Style
Anyway I was walking down the footpath and had to give way to this bovine beast – it didn’t care about me, and looked fairly streetwise! This scenario enabled me to capture an Iconic Images that creates travel folklore!
This cow was actually part of the traffic!
Only in India!
Once again, this is one of the joys of travelling – seeing something that you definitely won’t see at home.
And it’s one of the Iconic Images of India.

Anthony, I was born in India and spent my high school years there and you’re absolutely right, that image of the cow on the road will forever be my “iconic” image of India. I’ve never seen it in any other place! I hope you’re enjoying all these oddities that make up this strange, fascinating yet amazing country

Hi Charu, sure do! India is fascinating. I’d love to see a cricket game in India, say Australia vs India, or even better – India vs Pakistan! I’ve never been asked so many cricket questions in my life!
