Today’s Funny Engrish Photo is An Escalator Sign, spotted by one of my friends on a recent trip to Japan.

Check it out.

This photo isn’t doctored either.

This Escalator Sign reminds me of a really bad joke someone told me, where the ‘L’ is substituted with an ‘R’ with Engrish.

Question: What does a Japanese Man do when there is an erection?

Answer: He votes…

Terrible, I know.

I’d love to go to Japan, I reckon there would be tonnes of Funny Engrish Photos like this Escalator Sign!

I guess it’s just another one of The Joys of Engrish!

Japanese Train Etiquette – More Like A Rugby Scrum

Posted on 15 April 2010 by anthony

Japanese Train Etiquette is today’s Funny Travel Video.

Some of you may have seen this video sent around via email or You Tube, and it’s hilarious!

It’s apparently from a Japanese Train Station and involved the very helpful Station Masters stuffing a load of poor passengers into every single train carriage, and it takes them a couple of minutes to do so.

This scene looks more at home in a tough Rugby Scrum, not on a train platform.

There is a term called ‘Cattle Class’ which refers to the Economy section of a plane.

I think this train only has ‘Sardine Class’.

I’m hoping that no-one was waiting at the next Japanese Train Station!

One would think that one’s innards would feel like they’re being forced out of one’s mouth!

I can’t wait to have a go at some Japanese Train Etiquette… NOT!

I’m assuming this is light years away from Early Japanese Railways 1853-1914: Engineering Triumphs That Transformed Meiji-era Japan.

Personally, I love the Engrish signs that come from Japan.

I get a big kick on how things don’t translate well between langugages.

Yes, you have to look twice at this Engrish sign!

Received via email from one of my friends.
