Thu, 15 Sep 2011 02:24:21 +0000http://www.thetraveltart.com/?p=4463#comment-6768SIva Subramaniya is the name given to the child of Siva or Lord Muruga, the history is that when SIva and Sakthi split and there was no more production and Sakthi was in search of Siva Muruga was looked after by the parents of Sakthi or Unnamulai hence the name SIva SUbramaniya and now since Siva was in the for m of Dakshinamurthy the sivasubramniaya will be in the southern side.
The original temple is in Tiruvannamali and on the southern side and hence the name Siva SUbramaniya
